Subject: What is wrong with you dude?
You have written the same crap circa 2012 on a ton of phil shows commenting that any show without "fat" warren...is good. Btw did you like "fat" jerry? Cuz with the exception of the late sixties and very early 70's jerry was definetely heavier than warren is. Not that any of this matter I'm just disgusted that someone's weight has to be used as a moniker for a musician. If that's the way you talk and think you clearly don't get the vibe of this whole community enough to have anything valuable to add to the conversation about the actual music. And speaking of "fat warren", I can say as an undeniably huge p&f fan that your one of the only people I've ever heard say carp like that. Every hardcore phil and friends fan consider "THE QUINTET YEARS" (2000-2005 with warren and jimmy herring on guitar, barrack on keys, and molo on drums) as the HOLY GRAIL of p&f eras. You quote 2008 and 2009. Meh meh meh. Absolute hogwash crap. Take your larry cambell and barry sless and Jackie green and Mookie seagal( who I don't hate just don't think he has a big enough sound for p&f) lineups and shove up you know where. With the exceptions of the occasional festival shows or short runs where Jeff sipe and steve molitz and john meseski and john scofield and warren have guested with phil during the last 6 years or so, all of his other lineups have been such crap to me I don't even bother paying attention to it anymore. Until last year or the year before when he started playing with joe russo and john kadlecik I had almost given up on phil. I will say to get to this show here though that even though the golden years were he quintet years and anytime scofield or trey plays with phil it becomes worthy as well (2006 even though I hated the band I saw ton of p&f shows during the tour with trey, mike gordon and the duo and trey would usually come and play a set or two with phil and that was awesome even though stupid "pentatonic practice scale larry cambell" was there and god awful Joan Osborne I still enjoyed it when trey was there)but like I was saying even tho best years were warren and jimmy quintet years I do like all the pre-quintet stuff pretty much, anything with kimock is great and obviously the April 99 kimock , trey , page McConnell and molo shows were epic. I also like these excursions with some of the string cheese guys and also the Derek trucks stuff with warren in late 99.

Subject: Great show!!!
Any of Phil's line-ups without Warren Haynes is a great one and this one is pretty nice.
The jams are stellar and the sound quality is alright. Kimock is what made these Phil bands shine and since '99 Phil's bands have been hit or miss and now that Phil thinks its cool to play with a Fake Jerry(john kadlecik) I lost some respect for good ol' Phil.
This is a great show and some killer jams.
